Political candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin. He will be on the primary ballot on September 14, 2010. No previous political background outside of mayor of Superior, Wisconsin. Prior to his election as mayor, he was a small businessman. Lacks notability to support inclusion per WP:POLITICIAN. Cindamuse (talk) 02:46, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Fails WP:POLITICIAN either on the basis of his role as mayor of Superior or as a current candidate for lieutenant governor. Apparently he and the offices are just not that important.--Crunch (talk) 19:18, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Of course it is. And if he should WIN election to that office, he will then qualify as notable. But for now, he is merely a candidate and thus fails WP:POLITICIAN. Mayor of a smallish city doesn't cut it either. --MelanieN (talk) 15:40, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
